DJ Sringa

DJ SPRINGA has always had a reputation of a hard-working DJ who could musically please any crowd he plays in front of, he has been a radio DJ since the age of 12 years old and has never stopped. He started with three school friends which started a group called Four The Hard Way and at this time DJ Springa went by the name of Damage. After a few years in the group, playing in youth clubs and night clubs around the UK, the group split up and DJ Springa went solo and reached new levels of fame with his hard work, presence in clubland and on the radio.

It was  the start of a new millennium when DJ Springa got a call from Tim Westwood, which lead to him doing a full year of club tours around the UK where DJ Springas talent was recognised. Years later he has toured with Skepta, Tinie Tempah, N Dubz, Mr Hudson, Jay-Z and many more.

DJ Springa is one of the first DJs in The Midlands to play multi-genre music from the 90s. Springa hosts “The Blendz Takeover Show” Every Thursday 3PM till 6PM GMT.

The show features exclusive remixes, made by DJ Springa himself, called Ghetto Blendz.

DJ Springa plays everything from Old Skool Hip-hop & RnB to Drum n Bass, Reggae, Trap, Dancehall, new & old House, Funky, UKG, UK Hip-Hop, Afro and more depending on the mood of his listeners.

Springa does live interviews with up and coming talent and with well-known names in the UK, Jamaica & USA. He also invites guest DJs to pass by to drop a Hot Mix.

DJ Springas show on HOT92 has been running for a few years now and listeners are never disappointed. So much so that in the last few months Springa has started a new show on a Saturday morning 11AM till 2PM and tries to offer listeners something a little different with the show and plays more Reggae, Dancehall and carefully selected Old Skool RnB & Hip-hop.
